    Appointed judges to the Cantonal Court in Livno

    19.10.2023.

    During the second day of the session, which took place on 18th and 19th October 2023 in Sarajevo, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (HJPC BiH) made a decision on the appointment of judicial office holders in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

    At the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the following were appointed to the Cantonal Court in Livno:

    1. Jurica Babić, to the position of judge;
    2. Aida Bajrektarević, to the position of judge.

    When making the Decision on appointment, the HJPC BiH took into account criteria such as: professional knowledge, work experience and work results; professional abilities based on past career results; the ability to impartially, conscientiously, diligently, decisively and responsibly perform duties within the scope of the position for which he/she is applying; relations with work colleagues, behaviour outside work, professional impartiality and reputation.

    When appointing, the HJPC BiH applies the corresponding constitutional provisions regulating equal rights and representation of the constituent nations and others, and respects equal representation of the sexes.
