Accused T.P. aka Z. (47) and S.P. aka S. (44) from Livno enter a not guilty plea
The preliminary hearing
judge of the Cantonal court in Livno Nedim Begić confirmed on 24th February
2022 the indictment of the Cantonal prosecutor's office in Livno under which
the first accused T.P. aka Z. (47) from Livno is charged with the criminal
offences in concurrence of Serious Criminal Offences against the Safety of
Traffic in violation of Article 336, Paragraph 2 as read with Article 332,
Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Failure
to Render Aid to a Person Hurt in a Traffic Accident in violation of
Article 337, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and
Herzegovina, Illicit Possession of Weapons or Explosive Substances in
violation of Article 371, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of
Bosnia and Herzegovina and Forging of Official Document in violation of
Article 389, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and
Herzegovina and the second accused S.P. aka S. (44) from Livno is
charged with the criminal offence of Tampering With Evidence in
violation of Article 349, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of
Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accused is charged
that during the night of 9th April 2020, at around 23:00 hrs, during
the ban of movement of motor vehicles due to the epidemiological situation, on
the main road M-6.1 in Kovačić village, Livno municipality, he was driving the
motor vehicle Land Rover from the direction of Bosansko Grahovo towards Livno
without the headlights on, so with the left front part of his vehicle he hit
the front part of the VW Golf II driven by J.M. (21), while in the passenger
seats were S.V. (20), V.V. (20) and I.R. (19), who died as a result of the
injuries sustained in the accident, and he is charged with leaving the injured
without help, while hiding the hunting weapons by burying it about 100 meters
from the scene of the accident.
