Summary of the Cantonal Court in Livno operative report for the first half of 2022
The Cantonal Court in Livno is the highest instance of
the judiciary in Canton 10. Under the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Court in
Livno is the Municipal Court in Livno with its divisions in Tomislavgrad and
Drvar.
At the end of 2021, 785 cases
remained unresolved in the Cantonal Court in Livno. During the first half of 2022,
the Cantonal Court in Livno received 567 cases, so that a total of 1.352
cases were pending. In the first half of 2022, a total of 596 cases were
resolved, while in the same period last year 691 cases were resolved,
which is 95 cases or 13,75% less. At the end of the first half of
2022, 756 cases remained unresolved, while at the end of the first half
of 2021, 867 cases remained unresolved, which is 111 cases or 12,80%
more than at the end of the first half of 2022.
The achieved collective norm of the
court for the first half of 2022 is 115,11%. All judges of this court
achieved over 100% of the average annual norm for this period.
The average duration of 596 resolved
cases is 322 days, which is 43 days less than in the same period
of 2021, when the average duration of cases was 365 days.
According to the annual Case Resolution
Plan for 2022, the obligation to resolve 74 first-instance cases has
been determined, while according to the quarterly Case Resolution Plans for 2022,
the obligation to resolve a total of 290 cases has been determined. On 30th
June 2022, 290 cases from the Case Resolution Plans for the first and
the second quarter were resolved, so that the percentage of resolved cases from
the plans is 100%, while from the annual Case Resolution Plan 28
cases or 38% were resolved, and 46 cases remained unresolved.
