Summary of the Cantonal Court in Livno operative report for the first quarter of 2023
The Cantonal Court in Livno is the highest instance of the judiciary in
Canton 10. Under the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Court in Livno is the
Municipal Court in Livno with its divisions in Tomislavgrad and Drvar.
At the end of 2022, 646 cases
remained unresolved in the Cantonal Court in Livno. During the first quarter of
2023, the Cantonal Court in Livno received 211 cases, while in the same
quarter of 2022 received 315 cases, which represents a decrease in the
inflow of 104 cases or 33,02%. In the first quarter of 2023, a
total of 294 cases were resolved, while in the same period last year 297
cases were resolved. At the end of the first quarter of 2023, 563 cases
remained unresolved, while at the end of the first quarter of 2022, 803
cases remained unresolved, which is 240 cases or 29,89% less than
at the end of the first quarter of 2022.
The achieved collective norm of the
court for the first quarter of 2023 is 114,03%. All judges of this court
achieved over 100% of the average annual norm for this period.
The average duration of 294 resolved
cases is 277 days, which is 49 days less than in the same period
of 2022, when the average duration of cases was 326 days.
According
to the annual Case Resolution Plan for 2023, the obligation to resolve 95
first-instance cases has been determined, while according to the quarterly Case
Resolution Plan for 2023, the obligation to resolve a total of 146 cases
has been determined. On 31st March 2023, 146 cases from the
Case Resolution Plan for the first quarter were resolved, so that the
percentage of resolved cases from the plan is 100%, while from the
annual Case Resolution Plan 36 cases or 38% were resolved, and 59
cases remained unresolved.
